two days ago, I was able to play DayZ, but today steam comes up with in the headline mentioned message.

I have the same issue with 0.51 Experimental. 0.51 was working last week, now it will not launch.

terribly sorry to hear about your trouble.
We are aware of this - the issue is most likely on Steam's end. Would it be possible to reinstall the game, removing all the local files before, again?
It has helped some players with a similar problem.

Hi Andy, already tried that. As long as I don't upgrade to 0.51 experimental it works just fine, when the download is finished, the error comes up again
