Those non-combat creatures don't need massive amounts of animations, voice-acted dialogue, different gear and models like a playable female gender would.

Again, if this "high-priority issue" has such a simple fix, why not learn how to do 3D modeling and mod this feature in yourself?

Fletcher had a good point: there are more important features that need to be worked on and fixing this "issue" would be wasting time and effort that could be spent on more mission critical things like optimization.

Besides, with modding opportunities, why not just fix this "issue" yourself post release?
