@SidestepsPvP Yeah good luck with that, I've tried reformatting twice and every other suggestion out there. Problem still remains.
Ah well at least we have our official answer now which is basically: "You're on your own"
Try the 344.75 drivers, they were the only ones to stop my crashes.
edit: Spoke too soon, still same crashes as before.
I know what you mean, I've tried to eliminate as many of the variables as I can but I'm still coming up against the same issue.
I've tried underclocking, overvolting, stock CPU, OC'd CPU 2 x fresh reinstalls with Pro and Enterprise, maxxed out fan profile, PSU is 860i so very solid voltages and pretty much every combination you can think of regarding driver versions and the elements installed.
You may be onto something with the manufacturer as a few of us have the MSI version of this card, seems unlikely though as it should be nothing more than a PCB redesign but you never know. There is a definite correlation however with drivers past 344 and increased incidents of crashing, for us at least.
Thanks for the input R34P3R, your comment actually just made everything work fine for me and everyone else with this issue.
Also if you're saying there is no problem with the Nvidia drivers, and keep in mind that there is certainly an issue with crashes for some people regardless of whether or not you experience them, then surely the issue lies with Arma?
..... much better but I still get crashes most days. Guess no insights from BI yet on this.
Still an issue with 350.12 however rolling back to 344.75 is much better again.
Not working for me unfortunately as it's one of the first things I tried was to disable PhysX. :-(
Also the latest 350 drivers are showing the same issue as I crashed after about 30 mins. Think I'm gonna head back to the 344 ones as I can go a few days without crashing with those.
"PiepMGI: Same as R34P3R. I downvote until attached files for this ticket. Start with crashDump! "
That's really mature, just try and bury the topic because you have no problem with yours. Also what do you think the first thing I did was? Oh looks like you realised that my first post included the requested crash dumps and deleted your comment.
There are obviously people here with an issue regardless of whether or not you have a problem. All I'm looking for is that someone acknowledge that there may be a problem and at least state that they are working to a solution. If there is ANYTHING else I can do or provide to help out with then then I will gladly do so, what frustrates me is that this has been occurring for so long without any end in sight.
Many of us had a lot of issues with anything over 347, only the 344 one mentioned above has any sort of real impact. Still getting a couple of Arma crashes though, just not driver crashes like before.
At least either acknowledge that this is an issue which you are working to fix or point the finger at Nvidia and tell them to get with you to fix the damn problem as the other people I personally know with this issue only have it within Arma 3!
If the problem only seems to be with your game or very specific hardware while running your game the logic dictates this must be an issue with ..... your game.
I had played this game fine until a couple of months ago and since then have reverted back to drivers that once were stable, the conclusion this leads me to is that there has been a change made during a previous patches that has brought instability.
Instead of piling on the new features and adding DLC, please fix the obvious issues at hand as this would bring us much more happiness than a bipod I can only use for a while before the game crashes on me.
As quoted from an SC2 post a while back "Give someone a good experience, and their friends will hear about it. Give someone a bad experience, and everyone will hear about it."
Thanks for the tip St. Jimmy, I downgraded to those drivers and haven't had a crash in 2 days. My Arma stopped working once but the Nvidia drivers didn't crash so I guess it was unrelated.
So I guess the question now is .... who's job is it to fix this; Nvidia or BI?
Love to see some more progress made on this, it's getting beyond a joke now. We have 5 people all with the GTX970 and one with a 980 and are experiencing the issue above on a daily basis. We have tried ALL of the suggested solutions listed from various points on the web between us as nothing seems to help.

The issues only seemed to come about after the Arma patch earlier this year, my card was working fine from October until that point.
