Disagree. Private hives should be uniquely namespaced so it's possible to switch between any number of private and the public hive and maintain unique characters on each.

Had this same issue when I logged into a Fragnet.net server.
Spawned me fresh on the coast and then I had that same spawn on servers by that provider.
Went back to fragnet.net and it spawned me fresh in a new location, and that location copied to other servers.
Looks like it's not reading our characters, spawning us fresh, then writing back to the hive.
