Been this way since Pre-Alpher build preview videos, surprised such a simple thing wouldnt be fixed.

It appears the install I get from steamCMD for servers goes to a file directory separate from game data I get through steam, which is client side. How do I do verify this information through steam?

NOT resolved at all. It's just led us to the next issue. Phantomll is correct.

BI, we shouldn't have to resort to this. Please fix steamcmd
