Now this is really interesting:
After connecting using -connect=199.189.85.77:2314, when I return to the main menu I can connect to any other experimental server without fail. I can produce another log file with this information if it will help.

I am able to connect by using: -connect=199.189.85.77:2314 as my sole launch parameter.
