I have researched and found other users to have same problem as me. The solutions were -nobenchmark startup, update drivers, disable audio drivers, etc. none have worked so far. The game ran well during alpha but beta has pooched my setup. My laptop was built 2009 by alienware. They sold to dell and nothing is covered by dell support. I have an extensive network online that offers self doers to get best performance by moding certain perameters. My conclusion so far is that beta modified start up perameters in regards to computer hardware drivers. Maybe a list of hardware such as mine was not accepted. System requirements for GPU is ATI radeon 3830. My GPU is mobile radeon 3870 x 2. There is a possibility that one of my GPU's is failing but only failing with Arma3 beta startup is unlikely. Something is corrupt with my system goona have to do an extensive report. Lastly, I created a different user and got a firewall block from WinVista64. Weird why windows would do that...

I have the same problem with no resolution except using develepmont build.
Screen goes black when using capslock, os comes to front with capslock text bottom right.

video driver's are stock from manufacturer. gpu driver's latest gen unstable.

Any chance we can see anny AI options in the support area of command items?

Any progress on this issue? Still looking to give orders to AI other than basic commands. Patrol area, Search area, Defend area, Recon grid, Assault grid and Escort target are more examples. These options would only be available to assigned teams red,blue,green etc. .

My description is rather vague. I am suggesting the use of your hands to do a multitude of stuff. Hotkeys do great to get us equipment out of inventory and into our screens. Basicly I'm asking for a key to holld down simliar to Alt that we use free look the battlefeild. But instead this key would allow you to move your left hand freely to move objects on the ground, on screen and possibly more to include hand signals etc. One example is this: Your in combat hunkered behind a garbage dumpster with wheels. A building is ten feet away and your being supressed by enemy fire. Now currently the garbage dumpster is there and not movable. With a added off hand feature you would hold the new off hand hotkey "H" and this would grab the object in view. You then walk with the dumpster to the building. Depress the H key to release the object. This is only one example. More to follow>
