Friendly AI are not able to be given missions. Combat patrol, search and rescue, search and destroy, etc. They can be given direct orders but no set plan of attack. AI are restricted to follow only direct orders and have no sense of purpose. AI are scripted to only follow orders from a leader. AI do not attack defend or retreat without being ordered to do so. AI are not given the potential to succeed unless instructed by a player. Etc. Just a few things the AI should be able to figure out on their own such as military tactics. Adding AI missions to the already existing odrers menu to allow players more efficient commanding.

Start Game- Start editor- Place player character- Place attached squad to player character- Preview game- Command AI to search and rescue coordinate- AI moves to coordinate with pre-existing commands: open fire/aware/wedge formation -AI takes contact and eliminates enemy- AI finds injured AI pilots revives and escorts back to base. Game over.

Any progress on this issue? Still looking to give orders to AI other than basic commands. Patrol area, Search area, Defend area, Recon grid, Assault grid and Escort target are more examples. These options would only be available to assigned teams red,blue,green etc. .
