Just a quick note to say this isn't just over long ranges as the title suggests. It's in all cases!
@Mattar_Tharkari
The problems I am reporting is with AI skill and precision manually edited in the config to 0.01 - the lowest possible for both. It's not just their accuracy and skill that's the issue, it's their inhuman ability to react to the sighting of an enemy at extreme ranges and their coolness under fire.
It would be nice if there was some sort of transition or animation sequence between the AI actually spotting some one and firing.
An issue I see is that the enemy spot a soldier over huge distances and automaticly know they're the enemy. This wouldn't be the case in real life. They would at least observe first and then make a decision.
Wouldn't it be great if you could actually catch the enemy out by suprise? Have it so the enemy react accordingly to incoming heavy fire and head for cover instead of just dropping to the ground and firing back ten times more accurately than any player can.
The super quick reactions of the enemy AI currently make all of this impossible. Combined with their ability to see through water, and in the dark without night vision, it makes stealth operations almost pointless.
