Composite Arrows are way too rare for me, could there be a way to craft our own arrows?

They could be made from Wooden Sticks and a Kitchen Knife (to sharpen the sticks).

This would make the Improvised Bow more useful!

this is exactly what it is, you can do this... in 0.48

Already a feature; drag knife over to sticks, sharpen, combine it with chicken feathers.

Yea, the fun part: Chickens are harder to find than composite arrows...

You just have to know where to look for chickens. Take a look at this video from WOBO.

It would be helpful if the bolts for CROSSBOWS could be crafted as well. These bolts are way too hard to find.

Also it should be possible to regain back the bolts/arrows from dead opponents - at least a few times until the bolts/arrows are ruined, of course.
