The game is starting to slowdown, then rapidly freezes. To go out of this situation, I alt-tab and see the message "Dayz has stopped working".

I am not sure to know how to reproduce it, it happens sometimes.
I have the feeling that it is happening when my computer has more informations to process, like when I am in a city with other players on screen.
However it is happening more rarely since I modified my configuration options.
What I included in the Upload File :
- Dayz folder in AppData\Local
- DxDiag text file
- Dayz.cfg and DayzProfile
My launching options for dayz in steam :
-cpuCount=2 -exThreads=3 -maxMem=3072 -maxVram=2048 -nosplash -noPause
Event Timeline
Unless you are getting any kind of error message or code, this issue is impossible to solve.
If you closed down the Process halted information notice, where any error messages would have been displayed; it could have been saved in the game's .RPT log file or the OS's .WER log file.
I don't quite understand, what should I do about those RPT and WER log files ?
What behabior should I adopt to be sure that error messages have been logged ? And how to read them ?
Hi gug,
No need to worry as you have already uploaded all the required files (including the .RPT) in Bug_report.zip :)
Ok then, thank you.
I guess I have to wait now, to see if this issue can be solved (?).
Edit : I just would like to add that I had another issue NOT related to that one with this message error "ErrorMessage: Error: Device reset failed, error 8876086c". Just saying to avoid any confusion.
Hey,
Thank you for the feedback. We are aware of this issue and are currently working on a fix.
Please keep monitoring this issue for further updates.
Hey,
unfortunately the crash files you provided are from older version. So please update the game to the newest patch, and upload the crash files again.
Thanks
Hello,
I just uploaded new files from the last version (Dayz folder in AppData\Local and the DxDiag text file).
Thx
This particular crash is caused by sub-optimal performance on your particular system, you are basically running out of available memory and the game cannot allocate enough. The only thing I can suggest is turning off all unnecessary programs that are running in the background.
We will be addressing this problem in later stages of development, where tuning the game's performance will take place.
I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
