Had the same issue. My Mosin was painted with black+green spraypaint (camo look), tried to detach all items from it and to attach the bipod without success.

Already been reported and they are working on it, know bug..

Still present on stable.

Reproducible on M4 and Mosin. Both weapons were painted. After login after 0.45 update, Atlas Bipod no longer attached to Mosin. Removed Atlas Bipod fom M4, unable to re-attach Atlas to M4. Currently reproducible on both weapons. Will test on a clean weapon when one becomes available.

Does the M4 have a rail or handgrip on it? Bipod should only attach to the rail. Mosin has no rail, so you can't attach it.

@D3ADST1CK: Mosin has special holes to attach it. You need no handgrip. The holes are for the atlas. They are fix in the weapon

The bipod is no longer able to be used on the mosin since there is no rail system for it, Its gone forever and is not coming back...

There is not rail that can equip a bipod on a mosin...it's a ww2 era rifle and should stay that way...as for the holes at the front...there's a hole at the back...for a rifle sling...

The Mosin definetly can have a bipod, as this picture proves:
