JonEllisDee edited a custom field.

I've tried verifying the cache files on Steam, generating new profile files and full reinstalling the game and still get the crash when starting the client and the same message.

Can you upload the DayZProfile file at the location give in the error?

please try deleting all contents of these folders

C:\Users\...\Documents\DayZ
C:\Users\...\Appdata\Local\DayZ

Then start running the game again. Let us know if the issue persists.

Hi,

Unfourtunately, the issue persists, the first time that I run the game after deleting the addressed files, as soon as I try to apply game settings that needs restart (i.e. changing resolution) the game crashes, also happens if I try to join a server straight away. After the first crash, it crashes on start up at every attempt of running the game.

Find attached a copy of newly generated files.

Sometimes it gives me the following message after crash:

The issue was solved after a SO fresh install, so it was something on my side apparently. Thanks a lot for your time.
