Description

I can start and play the game normally, but after 10-30 minutes I shortly see a window which sais "Session lost" and my computer shuts instantly down, like I'd pushed the power button for 5 seconds.

I'd be surprised if this is DayZ related, apart from the game being too demanding of your system.

May I ask what your computer specs are? What are the temperatures of your system while playing DayZ?

Also, just going to copy/paste what a moderator will ask you :)

----------

To solve your problem we need dxdiag and files from this folder: "C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\"

Can you pack the files in winrar and upload it somewhere please?
When the *.rar will be smaller than 2.097k, you can attach it here. Thank you.

When reporting please refer to "How to guide" http://feedback.dayzgame.com/how-to-user.html [^]

Yeah, if your computer shuts down it is most likely that your graphics card is overheating and forces a shutdown before any real damage can be done to the GPU or surrounding components.

Hi,

As Nam has pointed out, there are some files that need to be uploaded when reporting crashes.

Please pack a dxdiag and the contents of C:/Users/<Name>/AppData/Local/DayZ/ into a RAR and upload it here.

If the RAR is larger than 5000KB you will need to upload it to a file sharing website and link it.

Thanks

Heyho,

I've added the files you asked for and packed the dxdiag.txt into the .rar-arschive too. I don't think that it comes from my graphiccard, because I run other games (like Rust, or Left 4 Dead 2) on high res too and they work just fine and I've adjusted my DayZ to play on max. FPS so it shouldn't give my graphic card too much to do.

another thing that makes me believe that there is an error inside DayZ is the thing, that everything just worked fine until the last patch... in 0.35 everything was okay...

sorry for my bad english, i'm trying my best as a german ;)

Hey Husky,
Your English is fine, better than most ( even most native english speakers ). If your issue is DayZ related, you're surely not the only one who is affected. The devs will find the cause. In the meantime, I would suggest you keep a close eye on your system temperatures. Not just your graphics card, but CPU and Power Supply as well. The fact that you can play other games, is never a guarantee other games will work as well ( different game engines use system resources in a different way ).

Hope it gets fixed m8, goodluck

Hi,

a game itself will typically not shutdown you computer. This sounds like a hadrware issue. However, the files you uploaded indicate that you game does crash. We will look into this.

Thank you for the report!

I've installed a hardware-monitor software to evaluate possible issues with my system. I hope that the devs will fix this issue cause I've got reports from 3 other players having the same problem.

Okay. I've played my Regular-Char (the error occures on Hardcore!) straight for 54 minutes without any issues. I have a GeForce GTX 550 Ti as graphicscard and its temperture was between 70°C and 76°C which is normal in any other game too. I hope the crashlogs point out the error.
