When you try to empty a magazine that is on the floor and not in your backpack, it will result in emptying the so said magazine, but it also makes the ammunition disappear. I can't find it in my backpack (when I have a slot unused) nor on the floor next to the magazine.

Steps To Reproduce
-Find or drop a full magazine (I tried with 5,56 mm)
-Step on it to have it in your vicinity
-Right click it and select Empty
-The magazine should be empty and you have no ammo
- The game log says you have empty the magazine

Me too, took me ages to get into the habit of picking up the mag, making sure I had a free slot, emptying mag, then dropping mag.
Either the ammo should go into a free slot in your inventory, or you should not have the option to empty a mag until it is in your inventory.

I kind of assumed this was intended as a way to empty ammo from clips so others couldn't use it.
