without green-painted parts (only black parts of M4) i still have FPS drop.

not just green parts, black parts also flicker.

a green painted _Handguard_ is rendering not correct too. But haven't testing handguard FPS drop. Only visible render lags.
May be other green parts of M4 have same lags..

Noticed this upon picking up a fully customized M4 off of a dead body as well. Had ZERO performance issues up until that point, then my buddies and I noticed gradual FPS drops. Re-logging only seemed to be a temporary fix for a few minutes, then it would start again.

I repainted the m4 and it seems to have fixed the fps issue.

Edit 1:(My M4 was originally painted black, I took the magpul buttstock off and painted it, then took the magpul handguard off and painted them both green. Then painted the body green and reattached them.)

Edit 2: The above fix is only temporary, it seems every time you log in you have to spray paint the rifle to get it to stop flickering.

I have the same FPS issue but with an unpainted MP Buttstock.
Also i notice other items that show the flickering behaviour, like the orange hard plastic helmet in my inventory
