Try selecting the internet tab, it sometimes defaults to LAN.
Try changing your filter setting's max ping higher than 100 (default)

I'm having the same problem. Adjusted the filters and still nothing but friends
Edit: Appears the problem just fixed itself.

This only happened to me once I tried to filter out Full servers. Now I can't see any servers other than the ones my friends are on

I had this problem.
I fixed it by opening the filter and changing the ping to 300 (I guess you just need to change something)... then you can change it back again.
and hey-presto, a full server list :)

Hi,
this ticket is pretty old and might have been related to a steam problem at that time you reported it. I'm assuming it's not a problem anymore.
Also, when your issue should have been resolved meanwhile (or "resolves itself"), please close your ticket to keep the feedback tracker from filling up needlessly. Thanks.
