I really like the layer feature so far, however, one thing that bothers me is, that CUSTOM layers are not collapsed by default and that the collapsed state is not saved.
If one spawns alot of compositions, each composition creates a new layer which then needs to be collapsed manually to preserve a clear view.

Furthermore, empty layers should be deleted automatically and the right click context menu should have an option to hide the layer. Going into the attributes first is unecessarily complicated.
