Problem occurred when saving profile data
Assigned, WishlistPublic

Description

After switching to Windows 10 Arma 3 refuses to launch properly due to the "Problem occurred when saving profile data. This file may be set to read-only or can be blocked by another instance of the game (e.g, dedicated server)" error. When I tried to look for the Arma 3 folder in c:/users/[user]/onedrive/documents" I didn't find any to check for read-only marker. I asked friend to archive his folder from Windows 8, and copied it into the location stated above, still no luck.

It's possible to see that game does recognize profile files if they're created outside of the game, by going into Arma 3 Launcher - Parameters - Profile section; they will appear in the list [look attachment file].

Tried to launch both as admin and with a completely disabled UAC. Took ownership of everything possible.

The only thing that helped me to bypass the issue was placing the profiles into the folder inside the Arma 3 game directory, and then adding -profiles= parameter to the shortcut. Still, it's a workaround. {F26839}

I think it might have something to do with the fact that I have cyrilic in path to the documents.

Or it might be a issue with OneDrive since your documents folder is backed up there.

It's an issue nonetheless. Had to make local windows user to be able to play.

The issue here is usage of the cyrilic in the path. We will prepare a fix but in the meantime a workaround would be not using any cyrilic characters.

Thank you for explanation.
