Just received this error while playing through the campaign. Just finished building the PC yesterday so there is no issues there.
I was stopped at the checkpoint after leaving Camp Rogaine in the first mission.
Arma 3 has quit in unusual manner. Info:

How to find correct crashdump file:
Try to make the crash happen
Look into crashdump folder
Upload crashdump with latest date in name (crashdump is rpt + bidmp + mdmp file with same name). Please try to provide as many crashdumps as possible, it helps us investigating the problem in a big way.

I would, but the crash did not provide me with a crash dump for some reason. I don't understand it.
