Game will not launch, "Play" button in launcher does nothing
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I re-installed the game after having not played it in a while, and when I went to use the launcher that is now mandatory, it wont load. I have tried opening Arma3.exe as admin, I have tried restarting, I have re-installed C++, .Net 4.51, etc., but nothing works. I have no way of loading the game, and every time I clock "Play", the button turns black then goes right back to orange but nothing happens. {F26064} {F26065}

Hello, Could you please attach your .RPT file located in C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\Arma 3\. To get the .RPT file you need to disable the
-nologs parameter. Also make sure you are not running any custom memory allocators.

Thank you.

The .rpt is attached. It is from the last time I was able to play the game, since the game wont open to generate another .rpt file.

I updated this problem 8 days ago, and have not received any help. Is anyone even tracking this issue?

Hello,

the Launcher recorded in it's log that the game was started and crashed 0.2s later. If you have enabled 'UseLargePages' override in registry for Arma 3 (either manually or using Freds41's tool) it may cause the game to crash instantly.

You have to reset it to default value:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\arma3.exe]
"UseLargePages"=dword:00000000
