So with this last update I have not been able to launch Arma 3 properly.
I can launch the launcher but as soon as I press play and the game pops up into full screen it goes black for a millisecond and then into a greyer tone of black in the same moment it crashes. All I get is a message with "Arma 3 has stopped working".

No, its not arma... its audio driver i think - sound cannot initialize properly. Try to run dxdiag (start>run>dxdiag>{enter}) click "yes", then go to audio tab anc tell us what is written
