Game crashes at start menu

Description

Game crashes at start menu.

I upgraded my graphics card from NVidia GTX 480 (x2) to a single GTX 780 ti card and since then have been unable to play the game. Here's what I've tried:
-switching off aero desktop
-deleting profile (multiple times)
-various combinations of startup switches including:
--noland switch (allows me to get to the main menu, get to the editor, then crashes the game after about 60 seconds)
--nosound switch (still crashes)
--skipIntro (allowed me to read the DLC popup, but crashed as soon as I clicked OK)
--nobenchmark
-I tried rolling back drivers (still crashes)
-I've tried using latest drivers (still crashes)
-Beta and non-beta forms of Arma3 (no difference)
-I've tried overlocking my card
-I've tried underclocking my card
-I've tried reference clocking my card
-I've tried installing Windows card timeout fix (no significant effect)
-I've tried forcing VSync on and off in NVidia panel options (no effect)
-I've tried reinstalling DX11 from Arma3 root directory (no effect)
-I've tried removing Saitek HOTAS and rudder pedals (no effect)
-I've tried removing TrackIR (no effect)
-I've tried unplugging my second monitor (no effect)

I can get past the loading screens every time.

But once the world loads in the background of the main menu, the game crashes pretty much every time.

If I underclock my card, I can sometimes get to the editor if I'm fast, but then it crashes.

Once or twice, I've tried going to the video settings and hitting "Detect" which causes a crash.

After installing most recent update to the game, I got a blue screen and the computer crashed, not just the game. But that only happened initially. Now I just get regular game crashes at the main menu.

I'm at a loss. Please help. I haven't been able to play the game since October.

Steps To Reproduce

Start the game.

Watch it crash.

Try a different setting in NVidia control panel or try installing a different graphics driver.

Repeat.

Additional Information

Underclocking the card has sometimes resulted in me being able to get past the initial loading screens and into the menu. But if I change a setting in the video options and the game crashes, no matter what I try after that, the game will crash.

These crashes happen both in Arma 3 and Arma 3 Development.

Hello,

thank you for your report and files. It seems that your problem is that DirectX crashes. This may be from various reasons, such as outdated DirectX, outdated drivers, overclocked CPU or GPU [by manufacturer or user] and many more.

Sadly, there is nothing that can be done from our side. I linked this problem to bug number #0000579, where you can read useful tips in comments. Also, please check out the forums page for another useful tips:
