Game crash on startup on Nvidia 344.48 drivers with multi gpu mode enabled.
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

When starting up the game with multi gpu mode enabled found in a cards with 2 cores on the newest nvidia driver results in a CTD with error "d3d error - dxgi_error_device_removed"

This can be bypassed/fixed by running it on 1 gpu core resulting in 50% GPU power. (in this case the power of a GTX 680 core)

When arma 3 crashes it also have a tendency to crash the Nvidia drivers with it.

Hello,
there is unfortunately nothing which can be done to prevent DEVICE_REMOVED crashes as these are in DirectX or GPU drivers.
Sorry for inconveniences.

344.60 is out now. Is it any better for you now?

No, not better.
