Strange movement of the soil during the movement of the player (1 video)
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I've always wanted to ask. Why in ARMA3 we see a strange, live ground?
During the movement of the player(even simple movements of the head) the ground under the soldier moves!

Probably projection of ground-texture does not have a fixed coordinates?
Or game incorrectly calculated projection texture to the ground polygons?
I don't know what it is, but it's ugly.
I think any system of UV-coordinates would not allow the texture to have movement and probably this is error. Or was it done on purpose?

This part looks very strange and annoying at times(when a player crawling on the ground)
There is a possibility to make ground in the Arma3 completely normal, without moving?

Why vote down?
Is it an Optimization system or something?
I would like to know.

Who crazy vote down?
Once again convinced, that on the forum there are psychiatric patients.
The one who vote down, let the reason?

I noticed something similar with clouds. They change shape when you're moving. Are these issues related?

The ground thing from this ticket (and the clouds) I noticed only recently. Is it a recent change?

No, it does not after any update. Have been since the beginning of my use Arma3.
Maybe it's not a good idea developers!?
Maybe they wanted to show the softness of the ground.
I don't even know. It would be better if we clean Arma3 from this!

Never noticed, it happens in Arma 2, too.

You see this too exists in Arma 2?
Then probably this is defect of engine Real Virtuality(
