the problem is unfortunately present on Steam side. Refreshing server list locks up internet connection. There are some solutions which seem to be working for some users.

I understand that the issue is very unpleasant, we are trying our best to solve it; however, the root of the problem is present on Steam side and affects multiple games.

My problem is not ,,Refreshing server list locks up internet connection". I have a different issue, i can refresh sever list and join the server but after 5 seconds when i join a server my internet dies

I fixed it, in my case i needed to restore settings in my router completely

Mass-closing all resolved issues not updated in the last month.
