I have recently done a complete re-install of Windows 8.1 My gaming rig was built by me. All drivers, chipsets, etc have been installed. This also happened before I decided to do a complete re-install. Have verified files through Steam, and there are never any files that fail to validate. Basically, I lauch Multiplayer, choose my favorite server for Altis Life, and begin to play. Sometimes within 2 minutes Arma 3 will freeze, sometimes I can play for a couple hours and it will freeze. Single player has not been effected so far, but I have not made it that far through it yet. {F24395}

Steps To Reproduce
Basically, just cntrl+alt+delete end the process, which is hard to do, I have to use the keyboard to get to Arma3.exe because my desktop screen will be completely black, and I have no mouse control.

it seems that your problem is that DirectX crashes. This may be from various reasons, such as outdated DirectX, outdated drivers, overclocked CPU or GPU [by manufacturer or user] and many more.
