Get kicked occasionally from random Arma3 Servers by Battleye - claims cheating and version mismatch
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Over the last week my squad members have all been getting booted from random servers for apparent cheating - the messages we get state that we have different versions of BattleEye and or different data files to those on the server in question. I'm not sure if this is referring to mods or not.

I have 4 machines on a lan all running vanilla Arma3 and all updated via Steam. I assume that when Arma3 gets updated so does BattleEye. So there appears to be some issue with server and client BattleEye versioning. This seems to only apply to certain servers - we connect to many protected servers without problem. Is this most likely a server admin issue? Sorry I cannot be more specific.
