Waiting AIs are always rotating until they face a certain direction
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

When a single AI or a group is waiting on a waypoint with the next move-waypoint being synchronized with a trigger, they always start to rotate like a watch hand until they face a certain direction on the map (on Stratis it is the south west corner of the map, on Altis it is somewhere on the western edge of the map).

This can be very problematic sometimes, especially for guards that have to face north or east, larger groups that keep adjusting their whole formation to this changing direction of their team leader or units that interrupt their current actions because they prefer rotating.
Apart from looking weird. ;)

Steps To Reproduce
  1. place an infantry unit/ group and create a few move-waypoints, make sure the unit will face north when reaching them
  2. create a trigger and synchronize it with a waypoint
  3. start the mission and let the unit walk to the synchronized WP (if it's not the starting position already). Now wait a moment and the unit will start rotating about every second.
  1. go back to the editor, select the whole set-up and turn it so the unit is facing south/ southwest now, and nothing should happen this time.
