Game freezes when I try to host an mp game with host set to "Internet"
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

My game freezes when I attempt to host a multiplayer game with the host set to Internet the cursor moves but aside from that nothing happens, I have to close the game with the task manager. I can host a game with the host set to LAN. I also tried to see if changing between Steam and Gamespy would make any difference which it did not. I did have the ports for Arma 3 forwarded but that makes no difference either, and I have never had a problem hosting a mp game with the host set to Internet before the 1.18 patch. I validated the game files on Steam and all file where validated. {F23925}

Had a friend test to see if they had the same problem and they confirmed that they do.

Hello,

thank you for submitting the ticket. I was unable to reproduce the problem.
Would it be possible to upload your rpt file?

Thank you very much!

I just uploaded the rpt files from the 7th to the 10th of this month. I'm wondering if this is being caused by a mod conflict, I will disable all of my active mods and try to see if this problem could be reproduced in the vanilla game.

Confirmed mod conflict was the cause of the issue. The J4P UCSV and JS_JC_SU35 mods are broken and are causing the internet issue. I will report the problem to the mod authors so they will be aware of the issue.

Thank you! Resolving the ticket now.
