extreme lag that will not stop. This resultts in a crash.

Description

Ok. There's no error message that pops up apart from the occasional "Out of memory" message even though I have 8gb of RAM. I have put this in the multiplayer section as it only happens in multiplayer. I'll be playing a server that has 60 players, normally King of the hill. Suddenly everything will de-render I guess, causing a lot of objects to go very blocky and bad textured. I have a GTX 770 and an I5 4440 @ 3.1 Ghz. I run on very high settings and get a nice 30FPS, so there's no reason to my understanding why it would lag. To fix it I have to restart ArmA, then it will happen again 1 hour later.
It starts with the de-rendering of some objects and the sudden detail drop ion everything, it then lags so I get 2-3 FPS (I have tried playing on Low settings and the lag still happens) I then either wait, leading to the objects rendering back in and me getting the normal FPS of 30 for a brief amount of time ( 20 seconds.) Then I have to close ArmA, or it does it for me and crashes.

Join a high pop. multiplayer server.
Play for an hour.
Start lagging, leading to a crash

Additional Information

I can't find any fixes for this, so I made a post of my own, there's no proof of this happening really. I have a feeling it's to do with my RAM as the memory usage is massive, and according to NVidia experience only 2.51 of that RAM is usable, but I really have NO idea.

Hello,
Thank you for reporting the issue. I have linked it with #0018347 where possibly the same problem is being solved.

We need crash dump files from this folder:
C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\Arma 3\
Can you upload somewhere in winrar package please?
When package will be smaller than 5000k, you can attach it here. When package is bigger, please use some free sharing service and post link here.

How to find correct crashdump file:
Try to make the crash happen
Look into crashdump folder
Upload crashdump with latest date in name (crashdump is rpt + bidmp + mdmp file with same name)

Thank you.

This is not related to issue "0016347". Kn1fes' crash is most likely happening because he's running out of memory. He's running a 32 bit operating system, which means that Windows is absolutely correct, when it reports that only 2.51GB of RAM is available. That's a limitation of 32 bit Windows. Doesn't matter if he had 128GB of RAM; he'd still not have more than 2.5GB-3.5GB of RAM available.

Why are you even running a 32 bit Windows on that kind of hardware? Your 32 bit Windows 7 license also covers the 64 bit version. This means you can legally install a 64 bit Windows 7 with that license.

Hey Shambler, I have NO idea why I'm running a 32 bit operating system, I left it all up to my friend to set it up as when it comes to bios and stuff, I have no clue. Thanks anyway, Ill get a 64 bit operating system ASAP. Thanks so much!

Thank you @ShamblerDK for clearing things up, I never thought that 32 bit system might be used. ^^
