Why we do not have this great ArmA2 feature in ArmA3?
Changing gear inside vehicle is much safer than standing outside of vehicle, vehicle could give you protection while you are busy and you could do it while vehicle moves.
In reality in most IFVs and APCs gear is stored inside vehicle so soldiers must get inside to access the gear.
It would be nice to have gear dialog accessable both inside and outside of vehicle.
upvoted, though I would suggest that only the people in the passengers seats should be able to change gear. Driver, gunner and commander are are occupied with other things.
@Stuffedsheep, what if the vehicle is stationary? I don't think it should be limited to only passengers. Perhaps limited when moving.
@LordHeart, Agreed, but the crew sits inside a separate compartment if I'm not mistaken. So they should be able to access there own inventory, but not the vehicles inventory.
IMO everyone inside and outside should be able to access the vehicle's inventory, even vehicle crew (gunner, commander, driver).
