Potential of Atonomous Vehicles
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

  1. I'd really like there to be ground stabilized cameras for UAVs, especially for the Greyhawk. As for right now, this vehicle cannot be as effective as it might be otherwise if the lazer was stabilized to the ground (or the camera in general). (That was talking reallisticly how things would work. Hopefully you guys are with me to make ArmA a better game.)
  1. Only one UAV Terminal (Player) can be connected to an atonomous vehicle at a time. again, talking reallisticly, at least 2 people would control a UAV like the MQ-4A, or MQ-9 would be the real world equivelant. That would make UAVs a lot more effective in battle.

Yes, there should be a 2 men control possible. One guy as a pilot, another one as a sensor/weapons operator just like in real life.

Stabilization would be nice, stabilization should apply not only to UAV but to helos, tanks, IFVs too.

Straight from the dev hub: (SPOTREP#00027)

UAV - Locked camera (added a new key binding to do that)
UAV - Camera stabilization
UAV: Locked camera - camera rotation precision improved
UAV: Locked camera - camera rotation set to zero when switching to manual view

Thank you, Bohemia Interactive.

First point is in the game. The second one is already reported here: http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=12982
