using "playSound ["someSoundName", true]" is not working

Description

when youre using playSound ( https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/playSound ) with true, the sound is not played
with false (or simply just the string) the sound is played

  1. move into editor
  2. place a player unit
  3. preview the mission
  4. use the debug console with the following command: playSound ["Alarm", true];

im having problems with downloading the latest arma patch ... (steam removed entire ArmA folder and got slow connection ...)

will continue downloading tomorrow and validate then

still was not able to get the sound playing when giving true as parameter : /

Hello,

I am able to play the Alarm sound on Steam Stable 1.16.123633 using command:
playSound ["Alarm", true]

Can you please confirm that it is not working for you?
