I've tried:

  • disabled firewall and antyvirus
  • remove Fraps
  • launch and update DX through %SteamLib%\Arma 3\DirectX\DXSETUP.exe
  • update video driver to latest
  • flush steam cache/configuration through steam://flushconfig
  • reinstall game
  • start game with different flags configuration: -nobenchmark, -nowinxp, -window , -nosplash and others

I checked all crashdump files and issue is in initialization of your graphic card.
Do you have hw overclock?
Do you have actual drivers for your system?
Did you try other DX11 games?

A: No, I've stock card, didn't change anything in it.

Q: Do you have actual drivers for your system?
A: Yes, I've got 335.23 (tried previous version). Also tired "clean install" of drivers (more info is included in DxDiag.txt file)

Q: Did you try other DX11 games?
A: Yes, Battlefield 3 and 4 works without any problems.

I've also have all available updates for my windows 7.

Having the same issue (CTD with error code c0000005) since ~23rd of march
No start possible since then - even with switch back to stable branch.
Up to ~ 16th I was able to play first the stable branch and then the developers branch.... didn't play in between.
Since then there were some updates of arma3 - but without help.
Once i aded the -nosplash startup option, it is most of the time the moment after the steam overlay info fades out in fullscreen while still showing the aram3-icon. Sometimes it crashes even before teh steam info si shonw (while aram3-logo is shown)

I also checked the recent Windows updates since match 19th - there was only kb2929755 added (besides windows defender). But rolling back that update and rebooting did not help either.

Trying to reinstall the whole game to stable branch now and hoping for a fix.
Seems like one of the updates around 23rd broke it!?
Is there a possibility to get a testinstall of say the developers brnach from 16th of march and try to run this?

Added my crash reports too, hoping it is really the same issue (my GPU is an ASUS HD7790 drivers are latest and unchanged).

Found it on my PC:
I needed ot DEINSTALL the program FastTrack!!!
(I was not even runnning it - just beeing installed on my PC seems to have caused the problem!)

Hello,
I will be your guide now. Thank you for the newest dumps. However, they are not as new as we need (28.04.2014 is too old for us, unfortunately). Would it be possible to upload whole new crashdumps (as much as you can) from Steam Stable version? Please try to run it without any mods and parameters. I deleted all the attachments to this tickets (there were no relevant data for actual game version).

Sorry for inconveniences, I hope we will get it clear soon.

Hello,

we analysed the crashdumps. It looks like a problem with your sound drivers/device. It cannot be fixed by our side. I would recommend to update to newest drivers of your motherboard or even reinstall your OS.

Hello,

you are right. There was a problem with my sound card. Producer of my mainboard published new BIOS and sound drivers. BUT... after upgrade there is still the same problem... I tried disable default mainboard sound card and plug external one (usb sound card), but game still crashes on start.

I've uploaded new crash files:

Can you check if (BIOS and sound drivers) upgrade changed anything ?
Can you ask "programming department" for more debug information about this "bug" that I could forward it to my mainboard producer?
