Burning fireplace (and campfire) cause strobe like flashing when using NV goggles
Reviewed, WishlistPublic

Description

Fireplaces and campfires have a nice flicker to their light, which looks good under most circumstances. However, while wearing night vision goggles (at night), they cause some severe strobe like effect on distant vegetation (trees, bushes and grass clutter).

No change in dev build 1.45.130624.

Effect is most prominent on moonless nights.

I think a simple fix is that rather it flickering. The light will just transition from bright to low. So it won't look like a graphical issue.

I cant say its an issue. Its looks like autogating.
