Aircraft control surfaces (except rudder) and hand controls do not animate until plane has gained some speed
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

If you are stationary in an airplane or moving very slowly, using your nose up/down and bank left/right keys will not cause your airplanes control surfaces, control stick or the pilots hand animations to move.

As you gain speed, those animations scale in intensity relative to the planes speed until they are in full effect.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Open Editor > Stratis
  2. Place yourself as Independent > AAF > Air > A-143 Buzzard on the runway and preview
  3. Hold down your "Nose up" key and notice the stick, hands or the control surfaces on the airplane do not move
  4. While still holding down the "Nose up" key, turn on the plane and start accelerating
  5. Observe that as you gain speed, the animations will start and as you gain more and more speed they will become more pronounced until they are in full effect
Additional Information

Expected behavior is that no matter if the plane is stationary or flying, the hands, stick and control surfaces will react to your input in their full capacity.

Control surfaces affected by the "Left/right pedal" work no matter the speed.

Successfully reproduced in build 111011.

This has been "fixed" but now the player is unable to affect the control surfaces while the engine is off.

Regressions introduced in 116538 have been fixed in 123647, making this completely resolved.
