We can currently search for suitable nearby places using expressions using ambient (environmental) parameters and the selectBestPlaces script command. It would be useful to be able to return the ambient parameters for a specific location, to derive information about the current location a unit is in.

We can currently infer details about a specific position by doing multiple searches and counting return values, but it creates a lot of script load and can be unreliable.
