Remove instant change to wind direction when setting: 'wind auto' is used.

It's really strange to see the whole cloud cover in the sky move abruptly when a change in wind direction happens.
It can move from north to south instantly.

This only apply if you use 'wind: auto' setting in editor
Many mission creators use default wind setting so please remove this cloud behaviour.

If you set wind to manually and apply wind and wind gusts, it doesn't behave like this.

EDIT
'Wind direction' setting should slowly change the main direction of wind when set to auto.
'Wind gust' setting should make abrupt change in wind direction at ground level and affect particle effects like smoke etc.

It should be gradual or you have the ability to say how long between the two directions.

Visually when turning the head clouds change. Can you add it to your ticket?

That is a separate issue pluto, no point adding it to this ticket.
It already have a ticket here #0000567
It's been like that since the release of Take on helicopters so you shouldn't expect to much. Probably not an easy fix for it.

Ok thanks, too much things on the feedback tracker...

This was fixed a while back, but the old cloud behavior is now in the latest dev branch.
Abrupt wind changes should only apply to particle effects like smoke etc. Not change direction of the entire cloud cover in seconds.
'Wind direction' setting should slowly change the main direction of wind when set to auto.
'Wind gust' setting should make abrupt change in wind direction at ground level and affect particle effects like smoke etc.
