In Arma 2, if your legs broke, you would automatically drop into a prone position and could not walk normally until you had been healed. In Arma 3, you just walk very very slowly. While this is viable for a single leg broken, if both legs break you should be forced to crawl until you've patched yourself up.

I voted against it.
I agree that if u jump from the rock and you get broken legs u won't be able to walk. But in ARMA 2 with prone position u couldn't enter buildings or get over low barriers. So I'll prefer it to stay like it is now.
Yes, what Avi said...
I guess the answer is be careful jumping off rocks. But it would be nice to have the ability to shoot yourself once you have injured yourself so badly that you are nothing but a burden :)
Usually if you injured that much that you can't walk - you can not do that a few week to all rest your life.
Healing isn't realistic, same as leg ingures, but makes game uncomfortable, very slow walking as it now is a best possible way IMO.
Very slow walking is only feasable for a single leg broken, and that's a bit of a stretch in my opinion as well. But if both legs are broken there is simply no way you will be waking on them, no matter how slow. Especially if the break was caused by a bullet, your leg is done for, you couldn't walk on it.
