Description

Unable to accurately localise in world sound location particularly for weapon reloading sounds of nearby soldiers and the beeps when a charge (e.g. C4) is placed.

Steps To Reproduce
  • in editor, place player
  • place AI soldier
  • have the AI expend a full clip and then note the location of the gun as it is reloaded
  • shift head position during reload and the sound does not retain its world location
Additional Information

This sound represents an important piece of information that indicates the proximity of possible armed threats close to the player. The poor localisation renders it useless auditory information.

Sound rolloff could also be better tweaked as distance from player is increased.
