Footsteps are too quiet

The sound of footsteps in the game is too quiet, it causes the movement of the enemy that can not be heard at a distance of 5 meters, and if the enemy sneaks it is not audible at all.
This study scouts and snipers:

  1. Steps - 30 meters.
  2. The sound of a broken stick under the foot - 70 meters.
  3. Climb of -16 meters.
  4. Talk - 90 meters.
  5. Cough - 40 meters.

In Arma2 it did not cause problems, as it was closer to reality. I beg to add Arma3 more realistic distances for these sounds. It is of great importance in the course of hostilities.

I would like to add that own steps are too loud while everybody else's steps are too silent. I've never uncovered an enemy by his noise and this should be part of the immersion during stealth missions.

It has been improved. Could you please check the dev. branch and tell us if you find it better?
