A.I can not be dealt with by stealth

Description

When trying to silently take down A.I using suppressor,A.I detects the kill anyway and gets alerted even though they cannot confirm the death via line-of sight or cannot receive radio warning because the target died in a split-second.

go to editor,make a squad or 2 enemies and place them without line of sight of each other.kill 1 of them and see how others react to it.

im pretty sure this happens every time,but ofcource there might be exeptions

Suppressors still make noise. A rifle suppressor will make the shot sound like that of a .22 LR unsuppressed.

A pistol round can be suppressed to sound like a hard knock with a pen on a table, but the impact on the target will also generate noise (crack of skull etc.).

Have you tried to reproduce this when they are 50m apart?

Ai always react on suppressor on any distance if they dont see victim...

The Beta does not yet include any subsonic ammunition, which reduces the suppressor usefulness

This isnt really about how stealthy the weapon is.

You can place a trigger with detected by opfor with a single opfor unit in the entire map inside the trigger, shoot that opfor unit with silenced weapon and even if its one hit kill from a headshot the trigger will still fire. Weather theres no other enemy ai on the map or an enemy ai 200m away it does not matter, you will still be detected.

Right now there is no way to make stealth kill missions unless you use unnecessary scripting or plan on having the player go weaponless so that they do not fire a single shot toward an enemy.

If an enemy with no other enemy around is dead before they know you are there then you should not be detected.

Subsonic ammo or not, they still need to fix the detection trigger.
