Piloting a UH-80 Ghosthawk, there is an option to transfer to the copilot's seat. This would be very difficult (and dangerous), considering that there is very little room and a giant console between the two seats. It would be much better just to exit the aircraft and get in that way. Not to mention that switching seats in mid-air could lead to a crash.
