If you climb up an ladder there is still the "climb up" animation, even if you are only with your feets on the ladder.
This bug already was in Arma 2. {F20183}

its not "bug" actualy, its becouse they made it that simple, without any "ending" animation ;)

I´m sorry if that is a mistake, but the same bug is in arma 2 even today. And arma 2 is not in the Alpha or Beta phase! Take your time and make the job right
