The lensatic compass shows up in pilot and copilot seat of PO-30, CH-49 anf UH-80 + copilot seat of AH-9 and MH-9, when the Compass key is pressed.
I think it should only be available to passengers riding in back and not show up in the cockpit.

I discovered this issue after remapping Compass from K to C, which is the same key assigned to Right pedal in helicopters.
So every time i'm using the right pedal, my view gets obstructed (especially in 1st person) by the giant infantry compass!
it should stay as is. its not the devs fault that you remapped your keys. besides, a helo pilot does have a compass for a reason. even it there is one in the helo, its very hard to read compared to the one used by infantry

then they forgot to implement the lensatic compass in:
pilot seat of AH-9 and MH-9;
pilot and gunner seat of AH-99 and Mi-48;
gunners seat of UH-80.
Feel free to open a ticket.
Mass closing ancient tickets with no activity for > 12 months; assume fixed or too trivial.
