Head Tracking with 3D scopes.
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

As of now, when using the zoomed view of a 3D scope, such as with the RCO scope, players are still able to move their head and change view. Because the scope is at 4x magnification, it is quite hard to steady the weapon, even with a deadzone. I suggest that when using the magnified optics of a weapon, that head tracking is disabled or centered, as with the 12x scopes. This allows TrackIR and FreeTrack users to not have to consciously keep their head steady and aim their rifle at the same time.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Go into editor

  3. Look through the 4x optic of the scope
  4. If you have head tracking, you will notice it is difficult to aim as your head will sway naturally.

afaik the 12x scope (SOS) does not sway according to head tracking. BUT the 4X scopes (RCO, ARCO, MRCO) do.

This gives me headaches and makes it very hard to play

You are correct, the RCO is 4x. It's fixed now.
