Ragdoll effect on dragged wounded soldiers
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I would like you to consider using the ragdoll physics on dragged wounded soldiers.
At the moment the dragging feature is outdated, buggy, and not polished in my opinion.

Now, when you drag a wounded teammate he seems to be frozen still.
If you drag him on uneven terrain, a steep slope for example,
his body will either float in midair above the ground,
or clip with the terrain going under the ground.

The problem is, that if you release him from the drag while his
body is under the terrain, he might stay there and you could not revive him.

Using the ragdoll effect would not only fix this,
but it would also look much much better for a game in 2013.

Before I get the dreaded "Duplicate of..." notes in here,
I did do a search, but with all do respect,
the search here is not very reliable, sorry.

The dragging feature has been modded in and is not (yet) part of the core game, therefore this issue is currently beyond the scope of this tracker. (3rd party content.)
