I run the game either in window mode or not. The arma 3 logo appears with the load bar below it, once loaded it goes away and steam shows the game running for 1 second then goes back to normal, nothing happens.

Ive tried:
re-installing
verifying integrity of files
updating my graphics card driver (gtx 570 hd) even used beta drivers.
rebooting
viewing task manager (nothing other than steam is running)
Tried running the EXE directly
set the EXE to run as administrator
disabled all firewalls
added command line launcher options such as removing intros like -nosplash
I dont have zone alarm
I am running:
Windows 7 with all updates
i5 at 3ghz
gtx 570 hd card with updated drivers
8gb ddr3 ram
i can run any other game just fine, planetside 2 on all high even. Arma 3 is the only game ive had that wont run.
Ive played arma 2 and have had 0 issues with that game, even installing dayz. Ive installed many mods for arma 2 so I know how in general the arma games work and sometimes how much configuration you may need for the games to run. I used to create mods for OP flashpoint way back in the day. {F19152} {F19153}
