In hollywood films, when someone attempts to fire a gun that is depleted of rounds, the gun makes that "chink" sound of the firing pin being released on an empty chamber and this happens every time the actor pulls the magically reset trigger.
In reality, that "chink" noise would only occur if the gun, upon being depleted of ammunition, fired the last round and the slide/bolt failed to lock to the rear.
For the pistols, the animation shows the slide locking to the rear upon empty. In this case, the trigger would be to the rear and thus the action is not ready to fire and the trigger could not be pulled at all. If the character released the slide, the action would reset and the trigger could be pulled to produce that "chink" noise, but only once until the action was cycled again. It's basically the same with semi/fully auto rifles as well. It's very minor, but with a game that is so far dedicated to detail, I'd consider this one the easier fixes.
